Well technically that's tomorrow ... but as I don't turn on a pc it means that today is my "goodbye" to 2023.

Yesterday I went to work, and then to Tim & Claires and had a good day.  T&C did Christmas lunch ... and we just sat and chatted and "enjoyed" the time together.

We did a few cracker questions ... and one that caught me was -

I have just got back from a lovely walk, in the sunshine.  I even bumped into Tim & Claire on my way back, as they were on their way out for a walk themselves.

So, thought I would share some photos I took ... beautiful sunshine, and lovely to see people out and about enjoying Exeter.

Well I did sit up to watch the New Year in ... it was always a tradition with Mum & Dad we would watch a favourite film, and then chat until seeing in the New Year with a drink (they always had a liqueur), then Mum & I would sing Auld Lang Sine (Dad always said he didn't know the words) ... then they would speak to both Nick & Tim. Happy New Year - here's hoping and praying that over the coming months we will see see a renewel of safety & freedom. All my holiday plans for 2020 were transferred, so hopefully by the time of the first trip, in May, things will be beginning to get back to normal ( Read more... )
